Many jobs now involve international aspect. To better prepare the students for the new global marketplace, Vilnius Cooperative College (VCC) pays a lot of attention to the international dimension of the courses through a series of cooperation links with other colleges across Europe. International / intercultural study experience develops the necessary intercultural competences that are vital in present global competitive labour market.
Vilnius Co-operative College has a continuously increasing number of partnerships, is strongly supporting student, academic and administrative staff exchange visits, as well as supporting, technical assistance, curriculum development and research activities.
Every year more and more students and teachers go abroad to study or train. During the recent years, within the international projects students have had study or practice periods in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Scotland, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, youth exchanges in Turkey, teachers and administrative staff had training in Ireland, Denmark, Holland, Sweden, Scotland, Finland, Italy, Germany and Poland.
Teaching staff exchange and trainings, international study and academic projects developed and implemented in the College open the possibility of bilateral learning, comparison and synthesis of the best practices and approaches, intercultural understanding and development of foreign language skills.
